Why are we sharing this update?
This update will
share those changes with you, as well as provide details of how we can be
contacted during this time should you require any support.
At Christian Life Centre, we care deeply about the health, safety and well-being of our Members and Friends. We are writing to update you on the action we will be taking following the new guidance issued on March 2020 by the UK Government announcing new measures to delay the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19).
The Government have now initiated the ‘delay’ phase of their plan which has introduced social distancing measures. This means that in order to operate in line with this plan, we will be making changes to our service and activity schedule until further notice.
Health and Wellbeing:
We recognise that this is an uncertain time for many people and that you yourself may be concerned about the impact this could have on your health. Firstly, as people of faith, our hope and trust should remain in God. Be assured that God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
We know that being in the world means we are subject to the challenges of being human and therefore, whilst our hope remains in Christ, we want to assure you that during this time we are here to support you in any way we possibly can.
Therefore, if you want to talk to someone about concerns or challenges during this time, please call the office: 01865 772152, email us at email@example.com or call the out of hours number 07552525751.
Additionally, we encourage you to stay connected to each other and offer support to those who may experience health challenges or have to self-isolate during this time.
We encourage all Members and Friends to adhere to health advice issued by the NHS, World Health Organisation (WHO), the UK Government and travel advice issued by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO). Links to the guidance can be found below:

Prayer and Worship:
We encourage you to take advantage of SOUND Christian contents available on social media platforms and online whilst spending more time at home.
Given the impact of the public response to Coronavirus (COVID-19) we realise now more than ever that families will be experiencing challenges accessing food. This has the potential to be intensified now that the Government has made the decision to close schools. Should you require support and help in accessing food or any emergency situations please contact the churches emergency number: 07552525751.
If you would like to support this effort please only do so if you are well enough ( i.e not experiencing any symptoms of Coronavirus (COVID-19) and not in a period of self-isolation).

We will conduct weekly online meetings with departmental leaders and ministers, where we will review our activities and events schedule.
We will continue to keep you updated on any changes on a regular basis via our website, social media platforms, emails and through the ministers.
Our church scripture reference throughout this time is:
Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name!
Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. Psalms 103:1-5.
