Our Vision
We are committed to becoming a Holy, Growing and Serving Community.
Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” Habakkuk 2:2-3.
We express Our Vision Through…
Worship
CLC will pursue a vibrant God centred worship atmosphere. As we honour God with our hearts, He will in turn honour us with His presence. Worship is not just singing songs; it is about attitudes and actions. I cannot say that I am a worshipper while at the same time there are sins I have not repented of. Worship brings our hearts and minds into the consciousness of the holiness of God which solicits a response of humility and surrender of our will to Him.
Evangelism
The great command is to reach mankind with the Gospel of Christ. CLC will reach out locally, nationally and internationally with the life changing message of Christ. This message will be expressed by word of mouth, literature form, different ministry callings, and social action.
Discipleship
CLC will continue to disciple those who are called to our ministry. we will preach the gospel of Christ with passion and relevance. We will communicate the gospel in such a way that Christians become personally responsible for their faith through the choices and decisions they make.
Acceptance
All people are loved by God. CLC accepts all people and will not discriminate on culture, race, gender, age or religion. We believe that God’s Grace transforms and changes people into the image and likeness of our Lord Jesus Christ and by accepting people unconditionally [not life-style] it demonstrates the Love of God to a fallen humanity.
Integration
The vision of CLC is to see a fully integrated church that expresses the diversity of God who gave His Son Jesus Christ to die for all men. It is important for all CLC members to understand that we are all one in Christ and our national culture must be subservient to the faith life of the church.
Prosperity
God’s clear and express purpose is to prosper His people. CLC believes that we are to prosper spiritually, and emotionally. Many people in the body of Christ have an issue with prosperity but people who don’t prosper can’t help anyone. If we didn’t prosper we could not have done the work we have done in Kenya, Ghana, St. Vincent, South Africa and other places around the world. We therefore want to encourage all our members to believe and allow God to prosper you.
