Oxford Tier 2 Covid Restrictions

Oxford Tier 2 Covid Restrictions

Hey church family,

We hope you and your families are all well at this time. As you all know, we’re in a period where things are changing rapidly with new information constantly coming our way.

This week, we had an announcement that Oxford City will be placed in the Tier 2 High Alert category.

Firstly, we would like to let you know that church will still be open at this time. It is one of the exceptions to the indoor rules.

We have been going above and beyond with our health and safety protocols to ensure you all feel safe when you are in the building. So as Oxford goes into Tier 2, rest assured that we will still be able to meet every Sunday for our 11am service.

Secondly, we want to encourage you to remain diligent and obey the laws, guidelines and restrictions placed by those in authority in our nation. This means we all need to adhere to the Tier 2 rules.

  • No meeting indoors with people who are not in your support bubble. You can still meet with people outside of your household in outdoor spaces and the rule of 6 still applies as well as adhering to social distancing rules
  • Limit your journeys where possible
  • You cannot stay overnight somewhere if those members are not in your support bubble or part of your household
  • You cannot visit hospitality establishments with members outside your household or support bubble, with the exception of being in an outdoor environment. The rule of 6 applies as well as social distancing.

We understand this can be frustrating, even more so as Christmas approaches but as a church, we have a mandate to be a leading example in our community and we need to be law abiding citizens.

We continue to pray that God will keep you and your loved ones in good health and trust in his provision at this time. May God bless you and we look forward to seeing you all at our Sunday meetings.
